Bruce studied at the Ontario College of Art and, through representation by Wynick/Tuck (formerly Aggregation) Gallery, Toronto, has gained national and international attention as one of Canada's foremost realist painters. Bruce's works are included in many public and corporate collections, including Confederation Centre Art Gallery (Charlottetown), C.I.L., Crown Life (Toronto), J.S. Redpath Limited (North Bay) and Ontario Northland (North Bay)
